Bob Beers' proposed amendment:

• Amend section 1, page 2, lines 7 and 8 by deleting paragraph (a) of subsection 2.
• Renumber paragraph (b) of subsection 2 of section 1 as paragraph (a).
• Renumber paragraph (c) of subsection 2 of section 1 as paragraph (b).
• Amend section 1, page 2, between lines 14 and 15 by adding a new paragraph (c) which would prohibit an employer from posting a sign prohibiting the tipping of employees in an establishment where it has previously been a customary practice for customers to provide tips or gratuities to employees or where the employer has previously allowed customers to provide tips or gratuities to employees.
